Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair






Evaporative Emission Canister

Removing

- Follow all safety precautions. Refer to => [ Safety Precautions ] Safety Precautions.

- Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Clean Working Conditions.

- Remove the right rear wheel.

- Remove right rear wheel housing liner..

- Press the release button and disconnect the bleed line - 3 - to Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve 1 (N80).






- Press the release button and disconnect the vent line - 5 - to the fuel tank.

- Disconnect the connector - 6 -.

- Remove the bolts - 1, 2 and 4 - and the EVAP canister.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specification, refer to => [ Evaporative Emission Canister System Overview ] Service and Repair.

- Attach the breather lines so that it audibly latches.

- Install the rear wheel housing liner..

- Install the rear wheel.
