Front Peripheral Camera (R243)

The front peripheral camera is installed in the bumper cover between the Audi rings (between camera for the infrared system (R212) and garage door opener control module (J530) ).

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

Removing

- Remove the lock carrier cover.

- Remove the screws - arrows - from the front peripheral camera - 2 -.






- Remove the front peripheral camera - 2 - from the bumper cover - 1 - and disconnect the connector.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

The front peripheral camera must be programmed again prior to calibrating if it was replaced.

Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
