Left and Right Peripheral Cameras (R244)/(R245)

The left peripheral camera (R244) / right peripheral camera (R245) are installed inside the left and right exterior mirrors.

Removing and installing is identical.

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

Removing

- Remove the exterior rearview mirror front section..

- Unlock and disconnect the connector - 1 - from the left peripheral camera - 2 -.






- Remove the screws - 3 - and the left peripheral camera - 2 -.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

The left peripheral camera / right peripheral camera must be programmed again prior to calibrating if it was replaced.

Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

- Perform a calibration. Refer to => [ Peripheral View Camera System, Calibrating ] Peripheral View Camera System, Calibrating.
