Drive Plate with Overload Protection

- Remove the A/C compressor. Refer to FSI engine => [ Compressor ] Compressor or TFSI engine => [ Compressor ] Compressor.

Removal

- Remove screws - A -.






• Use a commercially available band wrench (with webbed band) to counter-hold at drive plate - C -.

Installation

- Position drive plate with overload protection - B - onto drive plate - C -.

- Install the bolts - A - and tighten by hand.

- Check the drive plate run-out - B - => [ Drive Plate with Overload Protection, Checking Run-Out and Adjusting ] Adjustments.

- Tighten the bolts - A - (torque specification: 10 Nm).

- Check the drive plate run-out - B - => [ Drive Plate with Overload Protection, Checking Run-Out and Adjusting ] Adjustments.
