Left Rear Upper Body Vent Temperature Sensor (G635)

Removing

- Move the left front seat (driver seat) all the way to the front.

- Switch off the ignition.

- Remove the left rear door sills and lower trim of the B-pillar and the left C-pillar.

- Carefully detach the left rear floor covering from the vehicle so that the Left rear upper body vent temperature sensor - F - (installed in the air duct to the left rear upper body vent - G -) is accessible.






- Disconnect connector - E -.

- Turn sensor - F - 90° and remove it.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order while observing the following.

- Check seal - D - for damage and proper seating.

- Reinstall the removed parts in the opposite order.

- Ensure that the footwell vent trims under the front seat are in the correct installation position.

- Check the event memory of the Climatronic control module (J255) , and the rear A/C display control head (E265) and erase any displayed malfunctions using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
