Right Rear Upper Body Vent Temperature Sensor (G636)

Removing

- Move the right front seat (passenger side seat) as far forward as possible.

- Switch off the ignition.

- Remove the right rear seat or rear bench seat.

- Remove the right rear door sills and lower trim of the B-pillar and the right C-pillar.

- Carefully detach the right rear floor covering from the vehicle so that the Right rear upper body vent temperature sensor - B - (installed in the air duct to the right rear upper body vent - C -) is accessible.






- Disconnect connector - E -.

- Turn sensor - F - 90° and remove it.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order while observing the following.

- Check seal - D - for damage and proper seating.

- Reinstall the removed parts in the opposite order.

- Ensure that the footwell vent trims under the front seat are in the correct installation position.

- Check the event memory of the Climatronic control module (J255) , and the rear A/C display control head (E265) and erase any displayed malfunctions using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
