Fuse Panel F

Removing






- Turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove the frames for the control modules. Refer to => [ Control Module Frame ] Control Module Frame.

- Release the spring- 5 - - arrow - and remove the Parking aid control module (J446) - 4 - from the frame with the wires - 1 through 3 - still connected.

- Open the clip - arrow - and remove the Data bus on board diagnostic interface (J533) - 2 - from the frame with the wires - 1 - and - 3 - still connected.






- Open the clips and remove the auxiliary fuse panel.






- Open the clips and remove the relay - 1 - and the control modules - 2 - from the relay panels.

- Disconnect the electrical wires - 3, 4 and 5 -.

- Free up the wiring harness on fuse panel F.

- Remove the nuts - arrows -.

- Remove the mount for the 46-pin connector (T46). Refer to => [ 46-Pin Connector Mount, CAN Cut-Off Connector ] 46-Pin Connector Mount, CAN Cut-Off Connector.






- Open the clip in - direction of arrow - and remove the fuse panel - 2 - from fuse panel F - 1 -.

- Free up the left wiring harness and swivel fuse panel F- 1 - to the rear.






- Mark the wires - 2 - and - 3 - for installation later and disconnect them - arrows -.

- Remove fuse panel F.

• Check the exact assignment for fuse panel F in luggage compartment in the current wiring diagram.

Installing

• For the correct tightening specification, refer to => [ Relay/Fuse Carrier and Control Modules in Luggage Compartment Overview ] Relay/Fuse Carrier and Control Modules in Luggage Compartment Overview and => [ Tightening Specification: Wires To ] Relay/Fuse Carrier and Control Modules in Luggage Compartment Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the mount for the 46-pin connector (T46). Refer to => [ 46-Pin Connector Mount, CAN Cut-Off Connector ] 46-Pin Connector Mount, CAN Cut-Off Connector.

- Install the data bus on board diagnostic interface. Refer to=> [ Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533) ] Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533).

- Install the parking aid control module. Refer to => [ Parking Aid Control Module (J446) ] Parking Aid Control Module (J446).

- Install the frames for the control modules. Refer to => [ Control Module Frame ] Control Module Frame.

- Connect the battery. Required actions, refer to=> [ Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
