Front Brake Disc

Removing


The 4 retaining pins for the brake pads on the brake carrier must not be loosened under any circumstances.

- Vehicle, Raising

- Remove wheels.

- Remove brake caliper with the brake pads and front brake carrier. Refer to => [ Brake Caliper with Front Brake Carrier ] Brake Caliper With Front Brake Carrier.

Do not let the brake caliper with the brake carrier hang from the brake hose. Secure it to the body with suitable cable ties or wire. Do not support the weight with the brake hose.

- Remove securing bolt - arrow - on the brake disc while holding the disc firmly.





- Remove disc brake.

• When removing the brake disc from the wheel hub, do not tilt the disc.

Installing

Clean brake disc, wheel hub and contact surfaces before installing.

- Place brake disc on the hub.

• When positioning the brake disc, do not tilt it on the wheel hub.

- Install securing bolt - arrow - and tighten.





- Install brake caliper with the brake pads and front brake carrier. Refer to => [ Brake Caliper with Front Brake Carrier ] Brake Caliper With Front Brake Carrier.

- Install the wheels.
