Fuse Panel D with Right Instrument Panel Fuse Panel
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)
Removing
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- Disconnect the battery ground (GND) cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
- Remove glove compartment.
- Pry the instrument panel side cover off with the (3409) in the direction of the - arrow - and remove it.
- Remove the instrument panel CAN cut-off connector (T46s) mount - 4 -. Refer to => [ Instrument Panel CAN Cut-Off Connector (T46s) Mount ] Instrument Panel CAN Cut-Off Connector (T46s) Mount.
- Release retaining clips - 1 - in the direction of the - arrow - and press the fuse panels - 2 - and - 3 - back and out of the fuse panel D (SD).
- Release the retaining clips - A arrow - and tilt the fuse panel D - 2 - in the direction of the - B arrow - on the instrument panel central tube - 1 -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- Install the instrument panel CAN cut-off connector mount. Refer to => [ Instrument Panel CAN Cut-Off Connector (T46s) Mount ] Instrument Panel CAN Cut-Off Connector (T46s) Mount.
- Install glove compartment.
- Connect battery. Required actions, refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
