Fuse Panel A in Luggage Compartment

Removing






- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove the luggage compartment floor - 3 -.

- Remove the bass box - 2 - if applicable.

- Fold back the carpet - 1 - over the flap.

- Unlock the retaining tabs in the direction of the - arrows - and open the cover - 1 -.






- Open the cover - 1 - over the battery negative "-" terminal.






- Loosen the nut several turns and remove the ground cable terminal clamp - arrow - from the battery terminal.

- Loosen the nut - 1 - several turns and remove the positive wire terminal clamp with fuse panel A (SA) from the battery terminal.






- Release the retaining spring - 3 - and open the cover - 2 - over the fuse panel A (SA) in the direction of the - arrow -.

- Disconnect electrical wires - 1, 5, 6 and 8 -.






- Remove fuse panel A - 4 -.

- Remove the battery interrupt igniter (N253) - 7 -. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Ignore items - 2 , 3 - in this example.

Installing

Tightening specification, refer to => [ Tightening Specifications for the Fuse Panel A ] Engine Compartment E-Box, Wire Junction, Fuse Holder and Battery Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install the battery interrupt igniter. Refer to Removal and Installation.

- Connect battery. Required actions, refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
