Selector Mechanism Overview
There is a risk of injury and accident from accidentally engaging a gear when the engine is running.
• Before working on a running engine, move the selector lever to P and push the parking brake button in order to lock the electro-mechanical parking brake.

1 Selector Lever Handle

10 Shift Lock Solenoid (N110)

11 Transmission Park Selector Switch (F305)
• Consists of two micro switches on the circuit board on the shift lock solenoid
• Can only be replaced together with the shift lock solenoid, refer to => [ Shift Lock Solenoid (N110) ] Shift Lock Solenoid (N110)
12 Noise Insulation
• Not on all vehicles; for the correct allocation, refer to the electronic parts catalog ETKA
13 Lock Washers
• For securing the noise insulation to the shift mechanism function unit
• Quantity: 4
• Removing and installing
14 Retaining Clip
• Secures selector lever cable on selector mechanism function unit
15 O-ring
• Removing and installing
16 Selector Lever Cable
• Do not bend
