Trouble Code 201 (Only Kick-Down Shifts)

ONLY KICK-DOWN SHIFTS
Explanation
Only kick-down shifts are performed.

Possible Cause
The wire from the Electronic Throttle Control (EML) control unit to control unit Pin 2 has a short to ground or pedal position sensor or EML control unit defective.

Troubleshooting
Perform status monitoring of kick down switch. If display incorrect, check wire to Pin 2 and pedal position sensor.
