Malfunction: Emergency disarm of code function

Symptom:
The corresponding code number has been forgotten after arming the code function.

Troubleshooting:
The armed "CODE" function can be disarmed without knowing the entered combination of digits.

Procedure:

1. Disconnect and then reconnect battery.

2. After this total reset, the code LED flashes and the antitheft horn sounds.

3. Switch on terminal "R" on completion of the alarm (30 seconds):

A countdown clock is now shown in the large display; start at 15.00 minutes, end at 00.00 minutes.

4. If available, the correct code number can still be entered as the clock counts down:

"Code" appears in the display when the "CODE" key is pressed. The countdown timer is stopped and for 10 seconds it is possible to disarm the system by entering the correct code number.

Attention: An incorrect entry will retrigger the alarm.

5. After emergency disarming (timer has reached "0"), the BC assumes the setting mode "clock" and the drive-away protection function is canceled.
