32 31 020 - Removing and installing / replacing lower section of steering column trim





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Move steering column in "top" and "extended" position
- Unclip front section of steering column trim Removing and Installing/Replacing Front Section of Steering Column Cover and bring into contact with steering wheel





Note:
The front section has been removed to simplify the depiction in the graphics.

Release screw.
Press lower section off steering column with a suitable tool.

Installation:
Replace expansion rivet.





Installation:
Pins (2) must engage in locks (1).
