Trunk / Liftgate Handle: Service and Repair

51 13 401 - Removing and installing / replacing handle strip (on rear lid)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove both rear lights in rear lid Removing and Installing/Replacing Left or Right Rear Light (from 03/05) (On Rear Lid)





Release screws (1).
Snap handle strip (2) in direction of arrow out of clips (3) and remove.





Installation:
If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).

Replacement:
Remove both bulbs for number/licence plate light Replacing Bulb for Left or Right Number/License Plate Light (From 03/05).
