Removing and Installing/Replacing Vibration Damper (N73)

11 23 010 - Removing and installing/replacing vibration damper (N73)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove engine splash guard.
- Remove fan cowl Removing and Installing/Replacing Fan Cowl.
- Remove fan Service and Repair.
- Remove alternator Replacing Alternator Drive Belt drive belt.
- Remove A/C compressor Replacing A/C Compressor Drive Belt drive belt.





Release screws and remove vibration damper (1).

Installation:
Replace screws.
Tightening torque 11 23 3AZ 11 23 Vibration Damper.





Vibration damper is secured on hub with an alignment pin (4).





Installation:
Position vibration damper (1) on hub.
Bore (2) for dowel pin.
Fit disk (3).





Assemble engine.
Remove all special tools.
