Removing and Installing/Replacing Auxiliary Water Pump (Automatic A/C High)

64 11 262 - Removing and installing/replacing auxiliary water pump (automatic A/C High)





Warning!
Danger of scalding!
Only perform this work after engine has cooled down.

Remove design cover.





Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Unscrew nut (2).





Open fast-release couplings and detach water hoses (1) and (2) from auxiliary water pump (3).
Remove auxiliary water pump (3).





Installation Note:
Guide (1) of auxiliary water pump fixture (2) must be seated exactly in mounting (3).





Replacement:
Detach auxiliary water pump fixture (1) in direction of arrow from auxiliary water pump (2).

Installation Note:
Make sure auxiliary water pump (2) is correctly seated in auxiliary water pump fixture (1).
