Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front outer cup holder 51 16 202 Removing and Installing/Replacing Front (Inner or Outer) Cup Holder
- Remove decorative strip on instrument panel on right 51 45 380 Removing and Installing (Replacing) Right Decorative Strip on Instrument Panel
- Remove right glovebox with housing 51 16 366 Removing and Installing Right Glovebox With Housing





Remove screws (1) and (2).
Feed out cup holder carrier (4) from instrument panel trim (3) and remove.
