Step 1 - 10:





Circuit Description
The height sensor monitors the Accessory Inflator solenoid circuitry for a short to battery, ground or an open circuit.

Conditions for Running the DTC
Ignition On.

Conditions for Setting the DTC
^ Open in control circuit of the accessory inflator solenoid.
^ Short to ground in the control circuit of the accessory inflator solenoid.
^ Short to battery in the control circuit of the accessory inflator solenoid.
^ A malfunctioning accessory inflator solenoid.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets
^ The height sensor disables inflator functions.
^ Leveling functions shall continue.
^ The height sensor will recheck the accessory inflator solenoid circuitry periodically.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC
The conditions that caused the DTC to set have been removed.

Diagnostic Aids
A sort to ground or an open circuit on the battery positive circuit of the accessory inflator solenoid will set this DTC.

Test Description
The number(s) refer to the step number(s) on the diagnostic table.
2. Tests for voltage at the coil side of the accessory inflator solenoid. The ELC relay fuse supplies power to the coil side of the accessory inflator solenoid.
3. Verifies that the height sensor is providing ground to the accessory inflator solenoid.
4. Tests if ground is constantly being applied to the accessory inflator solenoid.
9. Verifies that the sensor is self tested after replacement.
