Latch Striker Replacement - Lift Gate (Aztek)

Removal Procedure





1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the lower liftgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lift Gate (Aztek) (Trim Panel Replacement - Lift Gate (Aztek))Trim Panel Replacement - Lift Gate (Rendezvous) (Trim Panel Replacement - Lift Gate (Rendezvous)) .
3. Remove the bolts from the liftgate strikers.




4. Remove the liftgate strikers from the liftgate.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the liftgate strikers to the liftgate.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.





2. Install the bolts to the liftgate strikers.

Tighten the liftgate striker bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in)

3. Install the lower liftgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lift Gate (Aztek) (Trim Panel Replacement - Lift Gate (Aztek))Trim Panel Replacement - Lift Gate (Rendezvous) (Trim Panel Replacement - Lift Gate (Rendezvous)) .
4. Close the liftgate.
