Test D1: Pressure Cycling Switch

D1: Checking the condition of the Pressure Cycling Switch.

^ Remove the connector from the suspect switch and connect a fused jumper between the terminals of the connector.

^ If battery voltage is present at terminal 1 of the A/C Cut-Out Relay with the jumper connected, Refer to System Diagnosis / Procedures / Functional Test for procedure to check refrigerant charge. Testing and Inspection

^ If refrigerant charge is normal, replace the suspect switch. If refrigerant charge is low, Refer to Service and Repairs to evacuate and recharge. Service and Repair
