Rear Compartment Lid Lock Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment.




2. Disconnect the electrical connector at the key cylinder.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the actuator.
4. Remove the bolts.
5. Remove the actuator from the latch.

Installation Procedure




1. Insert the actuator into the latch.
2. Install the bolts.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the actuator bolts.

Tighten the actuator bolts to 3 Nm (26 lb in).

4. Connect the electrical connector to the key cylinder.
5. Connect the electrical connector to the actuator.
6. Close the rear compartment.
