Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement

Removal Procedure

Important: Protect molding with heavy material tape to avoid damaging the underlying paint finish or the molding. Do not use pointed or sharp instruments for removal of a door molding.


1. Remove the window weatherstrip retainer. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement (Door Window Weatherstrip).
2. Remove the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Door) (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement)Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Door) (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement).




3. Slide the door frame molding upwards.
4. Remove the front door frame molding from the door.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front door frame molding to the door.
2. Slide the door frame molding down.
3. Install the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Door) (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement)Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Door) (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement).
4. Install the window weatherstrip retainer. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement (Door Window Weatherstrip).
