ENGINE FRONT COVER REPLACEMENT
Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Service and Repair
2. Remove the ECU module. Service and Repair
3. Remove the generator assembly. Generator Replacement
4. Remove the coolant overflow reservoir. Service and Repair
5. Remove the power steering reservoir. Remote Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement
6. Remove the camshaft covers. Service and Repair
7. Remove the upper radiator hose. Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement
8. Remove the coolant outlet. 13. Water Outlet Removal
9. Remove the water pump. Service and Repair
10. Remove the engine splash shield.
11. Remove the crankshaft balancer. 15. Crankshaft Balancer Removal
13. Remove the drive belt tensioner. Service and Repair
13. Remove the engine front cover from the engine block. 21. Engine Front Cover Removal
Installation Procedure
1. Install the engine front cover. 128. Engine Front Cover Installation
2. Install the water pump.
3. Install the camshaft covers.
^ For the left camshaft cover, refer to Valve Rocker Arm Replacement - Left.
^ For the right camshaft cover, refer to Valve Rocker Arm Replacement - Right.
4. Install the drive belt tensor.

6. Install the coolant overflow reservoir.
7. Install the power steering reservoir.
8. Install the upper radiator hose.
9. Install the coolant outlet. 140. Water Outlet Installation
10. Install the generator assembly.
11. Install engine splash shield.
12. Install the ECU module.
13. Connect the negative battery cable.
