Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Right Front

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the upper center pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the lower center pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the guide loop nut.
4. Remove the guide loop from the guide adjuster bracket.
5. Remove the intermediate guide bolt.
6. Remove the seat belt retractor bolt.
7. Remove the seat belt retractor from the T-slot in the lower center pillar.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the belt retractor into the T-slot in the center pillar.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the seat belt retractor bolt.

Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

3. Install the intermediate guide bolts.

Tighten the intermediate guide bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Position the guide loop to the guide adjuster bracket.
5. Install the guide loop nut.

Tighten the guide loop nut to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

6. Install the lower center pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
7. Install the upper center pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
