Engine Coolant Fan Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the cooling fan assembly. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LGD, LZ9) (Service and Repair)Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LD8) (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the cooling fan. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Remove the cooling fan motor retaining bolts (1).




4. Remove the cooling fan motor (1) from the fan shroud.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the cooling fan motor (1) to the fan shroud.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the cooling fan motor retaining bolts (1) and tighten to6 Nm (53 lb in).
3. Install the cooling fan. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Install the cooling fan assembly. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LGD, LZ9) (Service and Repair)Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LD8) (Service and Repair).
