Chart 1 - No Compressor Operation

CHART 1 NO COMPRESSOR OPERATION

ECC SYSTEM CHECK MUST BE PERFORMED FIRST

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The compressor clutch coil is fed power through the A/C relay and is grounded through the A/C ground (CKT 150).

Test Description: Numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart.
1. This step checks to see if a faulty circuit input has disabled the compressor.
2. This step checks the A/C relay.
3. This step checks to see if the A/C relay is receiving power on CKT 258.
4. This step checks to see if there is an open in the compressor clutch power CKT 259.
5. This step checks to see if the compressor clutch is faulty or if there is an open in the compressor clutch ground CKT 150.
6. This step checks the A/C relay.
7. This step checks to see if there is an open in CKT 67 or CKT 762 not allowing the A/C relay to be closed.
