TEST DESCRIPTION
The Number(s) below refer to the step number(s) on the diagnostic table.
2. Determines if the technician is using the right diagnostic chart.
6. Checks to see that the door module associated with the inoperative window recognizes the switch input and will attempt to send a command to the window motor.
7. Eliminates the module window supply and ground circuits as the cause.
8. Determines if the window motor drive circuits or the window motor are the cause of the malfunction.
12. Eliminates the window switch as the cause of the malfunction.
13. Eliminates the switch ground circuit as the cause.
14. Eliminates the switch signal circuit as the cause.
