With RPO A45

IMPORTANT: The following steps must be completed before using the symptom tables.
1. Perform the A Diagnostic System Check - Power Seat Systems before using the Symptom Tables in order to verify that all of the following are true:
^ There are no DTCs set.
^ The control module(s) can communicate via the serial data link.
2. Review the system operation in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions. Refer to:
^ Memory Seat Description
^ Memory Seat Circuit Description
^ Power Lumbar Description (W/O A45) or Power Lumbar Description (with AC9) or Power Lumbar Description (with A45) or Power Lumbar Description (with AM3)
^ Power Lumbar Circuit Description (W/O A45) or Power Lumbar Circuit Description (with AC9) or Power Lumbar Circuit Description (with A45) or Power Lumbar Circuit Description (with AM3)

VISUAL/PHYSICAL INSPECTION
^ Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the Power Seats, Memory Seats, Lumbar Support, and Heated Seats. Refer to Checking Aftermarket Accessories in Diagrams.
^ Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom.

INTERMITTENT
Faulty electrical connections or wiring may be the cause of intermittent conditions. Refer to Testing for Intermittent and Poor Connections in Diagrams.

Refer to a symptom diagnostic procedure from the following list in order to diagnose the symptom:
^ Power Seat Inoperative (W/O A45) or Power Seat Inoperative (with A45)
^ Power Seat Does Not Move Forward/Rearward (W/O A45) or Power Seat Does Not Move Forward/Rearward (with A45)
^ Power Seat Does Not Tilt Forward (W/O A45) or Power Seat Does Not Tilt Forward (with A45)
^ Power Seat Does Not Tilt Rearward (W/O A45) or Power Seat Does Not Tilt Rearward (with A45)
^ Power Seat Does Not Recline (W/O A45) or Power Seat Does Not Recline (with A45)
^ Seat Belt Tower Inoperative (W/O A45) or Seat Belt Tower Inoperative (with A45)
^ Power Seats - Memory Switch Inoperative
^ Lumbar Support Inoperative (W/O A45) or Lumbar Support Inoperative (with A45) or Lumbar Support Inoperative (with AC9)
^ Lumbar Support Does Not Move In or Out (W/O A45) or Lumbar Support Does Not Move In or Out (with A45)
^ Lumbar Support Does Not Move Up or Down (W/O A45) or Lumbar Support Does Not Move Up or Down (with A45) or Lumbar Support Does Not Move Up or Down (AM3 with A45) or Lumbar Support Does Not Move Up or Down (AM3 W/O A45)
^ Lumbar Massage Inoperative (W/O A45) or Lumbar Massage Inoperative (with A45)
