Rear Compartment Lid Lock Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear compartment lid trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement (Service and Repair) in order to access the lock actuator.
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
3. Disconnect the lock release cable from the key cylinder.
4. Remove the bolts (3).
5. Remove the lock actuator (4).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the lock actuator (4) to the latch.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the bolts (3).

Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Connect the lock release cable to the key cylinder.
4. Connect the electrical connectors.
5. Secure the rear compartment lid trim panel.
6. Close the rear compartment lid.
