CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The BCM and IRC monitor their input voltage to determine if it is between 9.0-15.5 V.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
DTC B1982 sets when the battery voltage raises above 15.5 volts.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
Stores a DTC B1982 in the modules memory

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
In order to clear the DTC from a current status the voltage shall be less than 15.5 volts for 1.2 seconds.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS

IMPORTANT: DTC B1982 may set if the vehicle is connected to a battery charger on fast or boost charge.
