Steps 1-5:

The number(s) below refer to the step number(s) on the diagnostic table.
2. Lack of communication may be due to a partial malfunction of the keyword 82 data line circuit or due to a total malfunction of the keyword 82 data line circuit. The specified procedure will determine the particular condition.
3. Lack of communication may be due to a partial malfunction of the keyword 2000 data line circuit or due to a total malfunction of the keyword 2000 data line circuit. The specified procedure will determine the particular condition.
4. The symptom list in Symptoms will determine the correct diagnostic procedure to use.
5. The presence of DTCs which begin with "U" indicate that loss of Class 2 communications has occurred.
