Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement (Rear Seat Back Replacement) in Seats.
2. Remove the rear seat belt retractors. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement.
3. Remove the 2 push fasteners from the cross car beam.
4. Raise up the front edge of the rear shelf trim panel in order to clear the child tether anchors.
5. Pull the rear shelf trim panel forward.
6. Remove the rear shelf trim panel.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear shelf into the vehicle.
2. Push the rear shelf trim panel rearward holding the front of the panel up in order to clear the child tether anchor.
3. Engage the tabs on the rear of the rear shelf trim panel into the holes in the rear drain.
4. When the rear shelf trim panel is all the way rearward, lower the front of the panel over the child tether anchors.
5. Seat the front of the rear shelf panel to the cross car beam.
6. Install the 2 push retainers.
7. Install the rear seat belt retractors. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement.
8. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement (Rear Seat Back Replacement) in Seats.
