Latch Replacement - Console Compartment Door

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the console door. Refer to Door Replacement - Console Compartment (Door Replacement - Console Compartment) .





Important: Note the spring position for re-assembly.


2. Lift the latch (1) upward in order to remove from the doorplate.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the latch (1) to the door plate.
2. Ensure the spring position is correct. Tension should be present at the latch.
3. Push downward in order to fasten the latch (1) to the door plate.
4. Install the console door. Refer to Door Replacement - Console Compartment (Door Replacement - Console Compartment) .
