Front Bumper Fascia Replacement
Removal Procedure
1.Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2.Remove the front fascia extensions. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement .
3.Remove the condenser seal (1) by carefully pulling up.
4.Remove the front push-in fasteners that secure the air deflector to the fascia.
5.Disconnect the left and the right side marker lamp electrical connectors.
6.Disconnect the fog lamp electrical connectors (1, 2).
7.Remove the bolts (2) that secure the bumper fascia to the front fender.
8.Remove the push-in retainers (1) across the top side of the fascia.
9.Loosen approximately 4 turns, the inner fastener nuts (2) securing the fascia to the inner fender.
10.Loosen the fascia from the key slots at the inner fender attachments.
11.With an assistant, remove the fascia by pulling the fascia forward from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1.With an assistant, position the fascia (3) to the vehicle.
Install 2 push-in retainers (1) in order to hold the fascia to the upper tie bar.
2.Position the fascia to the key slots at the inner fender.
3.Align the studs (2) to the keyhole slots in the fender.
4.Push rearward in order to adjust.
Notice:Refer to Fastener Notice .
5.Install the inner fender bolts (1).
TightenTighten the bolts to 9 N �m (27 lb in).
6.Secure the inner fender nuts (2).
TightenTighten the nuts to 9 N �m (27 lb in).
7.Install the remaining 6 push-in retainers (1) and secure.
8.Connect the electrical connectors (1, 2) to the fog lamps.
9.Connector the electrical connectors for the side marker lamps.
10.Install the front fascia extensions. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement .
11.Install the lower air deflector to fascia push-in retainers.
12.Install the condenser seal (1).
13.Lower the vehicle.
