Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (FE7)

Removal Procedure




1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the stabilizer shaft link bolt and nut.
4. Remove the stabilizer shaft link washers, insulators, and spacer.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the stabilizer link insulators, washers, spacer, nut and bolt.

Tighten the stabilizer link nut to 23 Nm (17 lb ft).

2. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Service and Repair).
3. Lower the vehicle.
