Exhaust Tail Pipe Flow Control Valve Solenoid Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the solenoid electrical connector (3).
3. Disconnect the vacuum line fittings (1 and 5) from the solenoid.
4. Remove the solenoid (2) from the solenoid bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the solenoid (2) to the solenoid bracket.
2. Connect the vacuum line fittings (1 and 5) to the solenoid.
3. Connect the solenoid electrical connector (3).
4. Lower the vehicle.
