Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the front compartment sight shields as necessary. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose from the air cleaner duct resonator.
4. Loosen the air cleaner duct clamps.
5. Remove the air cleaner duct.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the air cleaner intake duct.
2. Install the PCV hose to the intake duct resonator.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Tighten the air cleaner duct clamps and tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb in).
4. Install the front compartment sight shields as necessary. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement (Service and Repair).
