Engine Coolant Fan Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the cooling fan assembly. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the cooling fan. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Remove the cooling fan motor retaining bolts.




4. Remove the cooling fan motor from the fan shroud.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the cooling fan motor to the fan shroud.




2. Install the cooling fan motor retaining bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

3. Install the cooling fan. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Install the cooling fan assembly. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (Service and Repair).
