Secondary Air Injection Pump Inlet Hose/Duct Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement (Front Air Deflector Replacement).
2. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump inlet hose quick connect fitting from the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service).
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the AIR pump inlet hose quick connect fitting from the air cleaner. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service).
5. Remove the AIR pump inlet hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the AIR pump inlet hose from the vehicle.
2. Connect the AIR pump inlet hose quick connect fitting to the air cleaner. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service).
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair).
4. Connect the AIR pump inlet hose quick connect fitting to the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service).
5. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement (Front Air Deflector Replacement).
