Front Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement (Sedan/Wagon)

Removal Procedure





Note: There is a binding effect on the power window motor drive when the window is in the fully closed or open position.

1. Partially open the window, if possible.
2. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe)Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan, Wagon) Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan, Wagon).
3. Remove the water deflector.
4. Remove the wire harness inline retaining bracket.
5. Remove the fasteners (1) securing the power window motor to the window regulator.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector.
7. Remove the power window motor.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the power window motor to the window regulator.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the power window motor to regulator fastener (1) and tighten to 4 Nm (62 lb in).
3. Install the wire harness inline retainer bracket.
4. Connect the electrical connector.
5. Install the water deflector.
6. Install the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe)Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan, Wagon) Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan, Wagon).
