Front Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair
3. Remove the inner belt sealing strip. Refer toInner Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Door) (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement)Inner Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Door) (Service and Repair)
4. Remove the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Door) (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement)Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Door) (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
5. Remove the window (1) from the regulator.
6. Remove the window.
7. Remove the window weatherstrip bolts. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement)




8. Remove the rivets (5).
9. Remove the clip insulators (2), as needed.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the clip insulators (2) to the bottom edge of the window.
Snap the insulators in order to secure the insulators.
2. Position the window (1) between the inner and the outer panels.
3. Point the lower front corner of the window down.
4. Pass the window through the belt opening.
Aligning the edges with the door window channel.
5. Turn the window to the horizontal position.
Align the holes in the window with the holes in the regulator clip.
6. Install the rivets (5).
7. Install the window weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement) .
8. Install the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Door) (Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement)Outer Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Door) (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
9. Install the inner belt sealing strip. Refer toInner Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Front Door) (Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement)Inner Belt Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Door) (Service and Repair) .
10. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair
11. Install the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
