Floor Panel Tunnel Panel Reinforcement Replacement


Removal Procedure





1.Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2.Remove the catalytic converters. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side and Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side .

3.Remove the floor panel tunnel reinforcement bolts.

4.Remove the reinforcement.

Installation Procedure





1.Install the reinforcement into position.

2.Install the bolt into the reinforcement locating hole (1).

3.Install the bolt into the reinforcement slotted hole (2)

Notice:Refer to Fastener Notice .

Important:ALL of the reinforcement bolts must be installed and torqued to specifications, the reinforcement functions as a part of the vehicle body structure.

4.Install the remaining bolts.

TightenTighten the reinforcement bolts to 10 N �m (89 lb in).

5.Install the catalytic converters. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side and Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side .

6.Lower the vehicle.
