Secondary Air Injection Pump Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump hose quick connect fitting (1) from the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service).
3. Disconnect the AIR pump hose quick connect fitting (1) from the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service).
4. Remove the AIR pump hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Position and connect the AIR pump hose quick connect fitting (1) to the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service).
2. Connect the AIR pump hose quick connect fitting (1) to the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service).
3. Close the hood.
