Engine Mount Snubber Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the engine mount snubber to engine mount strut bracket bolts (1).




3. Rotate the engine mount snubber (2) to the vertical position.




4. Remove the engine mount snubber bracket bolts (1, 2).
5. Remove the engine mount snubber bracket.

Installation Procedure





Note: Hand tighten both bolts ensuring the bracket is contacting the engine bosses at both bolt locations.

1. Position the engine mount snubber bracket.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the engine mount snubber bracket bolts (1, 2).

* Tighten the bolt (1) to 90 Nm (66 lb ft).
* Tighten the bolt (2 ) to 90 Nm (66 lb ft).




3. Rotate the engine mount snubber (2) to the horizontal position.




4. Install the engine mount snubber to engine mount snubber bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).
5. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (Service and Repair).
