Selector Lever Cable Adjustment

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Assembly Replacement Front Floor Console Assembly Replacement.

2. Remove the selector lever cable from the selector lever retainer.





3. Remove the selector lever cable (1) from the bracket.





4. Remove the selector lever cable (2) from the selector lever assembly.

5. Remove the selector lever cable from the selector lever bracket. Release the lock and lift up the selector lever cable.





6. Remove the selector lever cable (3) from the cowl.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the cable assembly in the vehicle, then position the cable (3) to the cowl.

Note:
Do not close the selector lever retainer.

2. Install the selector lever cables to the selector lever bracket.





3. Install the selector lever cables (2) to the selector lever assembly.





4. Install the selector lever cables (1) to the bracket. Insert the selector lever cable, then secure the retainers.

5. Install the selector lever cables to selector lever bracket into the vehicle.

6. Adjust the selector lever cables. Refer to Selector Lever Cable Adjustment.

7. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Assembly Replacement Front Floor Console Assembly Replacement.
