DT-527-A - Adjusting Pin

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools M20/M32 - Manual Transmission.

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the manual transmission control lever knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement.

2. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Assembly Replacement Front Floor Console Assembly Replacement.

3. Open hood.





4. Position the transaxle into NEUTRAL and insert DT-527-A - pin (1).





5. Turn the gearshift guide (2) at 180 degrees and get the pins into the holes.





6. From inside the vehicle pull the retainer rearward to release the cable from transmission control assembly.

Installation Procedure





Note:
Displacement of the gearshift cable in relation to its seating.

1. Pull again the retainer (1) from the gearshift cable to fixate it.





2. Turn the gearshift guide at 180 degrees and get out the pins from the holes.

3. Remove DT-527-A - pinfrom the housing shift control.

4. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Assembly Replacement Front Floor Console Assembly Replacement.

5. Install the manual transmission control lever knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement.
