Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the intake manifold cover (2). Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.

2. Remove the radiator air upper baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement.





3. Remove the engine strut to engine bracket bolt (1).





4. Remove the engine strut to body bolts (1 and 2).





5. Remove the engine strut assembly (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the engine strut assembly (1) into position.





2. Install the engine strut to body bolts (1 and 2) hand tight.





3. Install the engine strut (1) to engine strut bracket (3) bolt (2) hand tight.





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

4. Tighten the engine strut fasteners as follows:

* Engine strut to body bolt (1) to 26 Nm (19 lb ft)

* Engine strut to body bolts (2) to 58 Nm (43 lb ft)

* Engine strut to engine mount bracket bolt (3) to 48 Nm (35 lb ft)

5. Install the radiator air upper baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement.





6. Install the intake manifold cover (2). Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.
