Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the grille applique molding. Refer to Grille Applique Molding Replacement - Upper (Molding Assembly) (Service and Repair)Grille Applique Molding Replacement - Upper (Bow Tie) (Service and Repair) in Exterior Trim.
3. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
4. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
5. Remove the wheelhouse liners. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front (Service and Repair) in Body Front End.
6. Disconnect the front fascia wiring connector from the body side harness.




7. Remove the fasteners that attach the front fascia to the fascia support bracket.
8. Remove the side fascia attaching fasteners.




9. Remove the front fascia assembly from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1.
Align the front fascia assembly to the vehicle.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the front fascia support fasteners.

Tighten the front fascia support fasteners to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

3. Install the side fascia attaching fasteners.

Tighten the side fascia support fasteners to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

4. Connect the front fascia wiring connector to the body side harness.
5. Install the wheelhouse liners. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front (Service and Repair) in Body Front End.
6. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Install the grille applique molding. Refer to Grille Applique Molding Replacement - Upper (Molding Assembly) (Service and Repair)Grille Applique Molding Replacement - Upper (Bow Tie) (Service and Repair) in Exterior Trim.
9. Close the hood.
