Throttle Body Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet rear duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Rear Duct Replacement Air Cleaner Outlet Rear Duct Replacement.




2. Remove the throttle body wiring harness plug (1).




3. Remove 4 throttle body bolts (3).

4. Remove the throttle body (2).

5. Remove and DISCARD the gasket (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install a NEW gasket (1).

2. Install the throttle body (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

3. Install 4 throttle body bolts (3), and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).




4. Install the throttle body wiring harness plug (1).

5. Install the air cleaner outlet rear duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Rear Duct Replacement Air Cleaner Outlet Rear Duct Replacement.

6. Perform Throttle Idle/Learn. Refer to Throttle/Idle Learn Testing and Inspection.
